A former York County teacher accused of having sex with a student back in 2010 is now headed to trial.

Facing questions from a resident about the borough's police protection, the Abbottstown Borough Council continued to defend its decision to drop coverage from Eastern Adams Regional Police in favor of free service from the state police.
