Typical Chicago. Nothing ever changes, it only gets worse. How can you people feel safe living there?

We know to stay away from the darker coloured peoples and areas of the city and that helps to keep us safe.

Chicago is one of the TOP 25 deadliest cities in the United States, what the hell are you talking about you idiot!! I use to live there, I just got wise at a very young age... and got the hell out of there. I'd much rather live in a safe haven, than in hell, and fear for my life. avoidance works...I consider myself to be one of the darker colored people who live in chicago. Yes most of the murders SHOWN ON T.V. is in the black community but it is not all of us who are involved.How small of you to write darker people off as a hole because of the dumb choices of some.I dont like it anymore than you do.I dont like that someof the lighter people always jump to conclusion about blacks but i will NEVER put the whole race down as 1.That comment just shows your lack of care for others and your stupidity. Sorry but this city is a hole and so is the county it is in. The sad part is our expectations have been lowered where if only one person is killed overnight, it was a good night. Our politicians have failed us and the city is fabolous for the chosen few on the Gold Coast and other areas. They chase businesses and the politicians are corrupt and we only say "Its the Chicago Way."
