It is now April 30 2012 and nothing substantive has been done by MOT for over 10 years to resolve the health hazard. The cause of the mud and resulting dust pollution is mud laden trucks and loads depositing on a public roadway from a private industrial road under bond to not do so. Although our local politicians have brought the problem to the attention of the BC government Ministry of Transportation and Ministry of Environment over many years,we have been unable to break through the glass ceiling and have the cause eliminated. May 15th is the new date for a resolve.Time will tell but we will not go away until this injustice is corrected.
