More than 50 nuisance charges laid by Wetaskiwin RCMP over the summertime

A new Wetaskiwin public safety city bylaw is keeping the RCMP busy. Bylaw 1736-08, which prohibits a number of ills from fighting in public or public urination to placing leaflets on cars and yelling, screaming or swearing in public, has seen 55 charges laid over the summer from June to September.
