A 49-year-old Monteregie man died last night after the truck he was driving plunged off the Ile aux Tourtes bridge, which links to the western tip of Montreal, yesterday afternoon.

Police say criminal charges might be filed against a truck driver who was zigzagging on westbound Highway 40 just before he slammed into two minibuses that were parked on the shoulder in Vaudreuil-Dorion, off the western tip of Montreal Island.
