Charges laid in Barrhaven robbery, stabbing
A 20-year-old Ottawa man is facing several charges in connection with a robbery and stabbing in Barrhaven last spring. Around 10:15 p.m. on May 25, police say a 19-year-old man thought he was going to meet someone at the McDonald's on Fallowfield Road near Woodroffe Avenue to conduct a transaction.

CD Warehouse to close its doors in 2015
After 23 years in business, the landmark Ottawa retailer will soon close its doors for good at its two remaining locations on Terry Fox Drive in Kanata and the flagship Clyde Avenue location in Nepean. The St. Laurent Boulevard store closed earlier this year.
