NDP MPPs meet MTO officials on highway clearing standards

It appears the Ministry of Transportation agrees with concerns raised by area NDP MPPs concerning highway clearing standards in Northern Ontario, and some positive action has come as a result.

Trustee Killens upset school busses not cancelled during inclement weather

A Manitoulin trustee with the Rainbow District School Board says he and many parents are upset after school busses for students in the Sudbury area were cancelled on Thursday of last week , while busses on the Island continued to run.
