Tornado strikes near Montreal, heavy property damage reported
The agency says a low-scale F-0 tornado first struck the rural community of Brownsburg Chatham, damaging farm sheds and equipment around 8 p.m. A second stronger F-1 twister touched down in the town of Saint Benoit de Mirabel 15 minutes later, uprooting trees and causing heavy property damage.
