Nottawasaga OPP are asking for the public's help in trying to locate the person responsible for causing property damage in the Beeton area early this morning.

The investigation continues into the cause of a snow plow truck that caught fire inside the new Simcoe County roads building on the 8th Line, immediately east of Tottenham Road, this morning around 6 am.

The Sorbara Group has missed a deadline that will force the developer to set aside a larger block of land in Beeton as an environmental buffer zone to protect two threatened bird species, if it pushes forward with its amended subdivision proposal that drew public opposition when presented last fall.
