Why you should care about truckers

The trucking industry very much affects The Panhandle. For example, passing through Perryton, Vega and Groom around 50 percent of the traffic is semi trucks.

Truckers are just another cog in the wheel. They are not special, not heroic, not knights of the road. They are doing a difficult job, but then, so is the drive thu window person at Mcdonalds, or the nurse, of the taxi driver.

Not much.They are a self important group as a whole. They are just another cog in the wheel.
