THAT LINE IS NOT SO GOOD. MY FIRST LEAR JOB WENT TO MEXICO AND MY SECOND LEAR JOB IS GOING THIS SUMMER. SAME PLACE. COMPANY GREED. IF THE CEO LIKES MEXICO SO MUCH WHY DON'T THEY STATION HIM THERE AND LET THE COCK ROACHES EAT HIM. EVERY DOG HAS THEIR DAY. I HOPE THE WHOLE AUTOMOTIVE SYSTEM IN THIS COUNTRY FALLS RIGHT ON THEIR

MEXICO. IT MUST BE NICE TO HAVE JOBS HANDED TO YOU AFTER SOMEONE ELSE WORKS FOR THEM. WHAT IS LEAR GOING TO DO FIRE ME.

NOTHING LIKE A LEGAL OOZING SCAB. IT IS LEGALIZED SLAVERY DOWN THERE AND BOTH LEADERS AND MANY OTHERS ARE SICK IN BOTH COUNTRIES. THOSE PEOPLE HAVE NO RIGHTS.

IT TOOK UNTIL 1970 BEFORE I COULD ROLLER SKATE WITH MY BLACK NEIGHBOR. NOW THEY ARE FREE THE WHITE MAN HAS TO FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO DO HIS DIRTY WORK. OUR LEARS ARE SO SICK.

THOSE PEOPLE DOWN THERE HAVE NO RIGHTS, NO DECENT PAY, NO PROPER SEWAGE, NO SAFE DRINKING WATER, NO MEDICAL CARE. FROM WHAT I HEARD FROM AN OLD BOSS ON THE HILL THE PLANT IN MEXICO MY JOB WENT TO DRAINS ALL OF THEIR SEWAGE AND WASTE INTO A LAKE OUT BACK. aAPLACE WHERE PEOPLE BATH AND LIVE IN MUD HUTS ON THE OTHER SIDE. HE COULD NOT EVEN TAKE A CAMERA TO MEXICO WITH HIM. IT WAS STRICKLY FORBIDDEN.

THE UNIONS SHOULD HAVE BEEN SENT RIGHT WITH THE JOBS WHEN THEY LEFT.

I TOLD VIP AT LEAR WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN. HE SAID IT WAS JUST A BAD YEAR. I THINK MR ELLIOT WAS WRONG. IT DID NOT TAKE HIM LONG TO HIT THE BRICKS WHEN HE REALIZED IT WAS NOT JUST A BAD YEAR. I BEEN THROUGH THIS ONCE. WHEN WORLD CLASS MANUFACTURING STARTS IT IS A LAST ALTERNATIVE BEFORE JOBS LEAVE THE COUNTRY. SO MANY PEOPLE TOLD ME I WAS WRONG. I BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT, I KNEW WHAT I WAS SEEING. WHEN ALL THE AUTOMOTIVE JOBS ARE OUT OF THE COUNTRY LEAR CAN GIVE THE CEO AN 85% PAYCUT. HE WOULD STIL MAKE MORE THAN I EVER DID.

It will be sad to see Lear go, I was there for 24 yr. However, the Company did sighn up it's employees for TAA, meaning we are eligable for 2 yr. of paid school and 2 yr of unemployment. I, am now attending Zane State, enrolled in their Medical Assistat program, and I thank Lear for that.

Your union is responsible for signing you up for TAA. Lear even dragged their feet on that. Or they would have told Mark the truth so he could have gotten the TAA signed up for sooner than he did, and when I was first laid off I could have went right to school.

Thank your goverment, they are the ones that designed the TAA program and they are the ones paying. Lear does not give a rats a s s about you or anyone eles. They can care less if you starve or curl up and croak.

Good Luck with your new career.

Thumbs up to you Betsy :) I hope you are in school because nothing good is taking place at lear. I just pray that we will all find work because we have been used and kicked to the curb.

This past week seven people were fired at the Huron plant. Three I know were quality control leads and fired within two days. Could it be they are making room for others? Seven in a week and the same week they mention a layoff, makes me wonder if there is something the employees do not know. Union said they would try to get there jobs back. Wander why communication is lacking between union and fired employees? Any thoughts?

Don't count on TAA. It's a waste of time. If they don't like what you pick they won't approve your schooling. You can't pick just what you want. It has to be in demand in your area. It's not as easy as you think. In my opinion it SUCKS!!!!!!! They approved Lear employees for schooling then they tell you what you can or not take. We should be allowed to take what we want.

YES YOU ARE RIGHT, MANY HAVE BEEN THROUGH THE SAME CRAP IN ZANESVILLE. 9 YEARS AGO WHEN lEAR CERAMIC CLOSED I WAS GIVEN A HARD TIME. I DID GO TO SCHOOL NOW THAT LEAR LINDEN HAS THROWN US OUT THE DOOR, I HAD TO SETTLE FOR THE THIRD CHOICE THAT DOES NOT PAY AS MUCH. AND BEEN ON A WAITING LIST.

THEN THEY JUDGE DISTANCE BY AIR MILES. WHO ALL OUT THERE FLIES A PLANE TO SCHOOL!! IF YOU DO YOU LET ME KNOW ABOUT IT. TRADE KNOWS WITH THE UP AND DOWN AND WINDING ROADS IN OHIO WHAT THEY CONSIDER TO BE 50 MILES MAY VERY WELL BE 75. JUST ANOTHER LOOP HOLE TO SCREW US OVER. lIKE LEAR DID NOT ALREADY DO A GOOD ENOUGH JOB OF THAT.

WE ARE TO OVER COME WORK BARRIERS. ONE IS THAT I AM PARTIALLY DEAF FROM A STROKE 8 YEARS AGO. TRADE WILL NOT PAY FOR COMUNICATION CLASSES FOR ME. THE BUREAU OF VOCATIONAL RAHABILITION OF OHIO SAYS I CAN STILL HEAR WELL ENOUGH TO NOT BE CONSIDERED DISABLED AND HAS NOTHING TO OFFER ME. I HAVE NO WORD REGONITION IN ONE EAR AND LOST 5% IN THE OTHER EAR.

THERE IS NOTHING LIKE THE WHOLE WORLD PUTTIN THE DAMN SCREWS TO YA.
