State lawmakers plan to raise residential electric bills by as much as 15 percent so businesses and schools can pay less.

I'm a senior citizen on a fixed income, I'm already paying more for gas,food,natural gas & insurance premiums. You want to raise my electric rates so WalMart can get a break? I don't think so.

We're retired and on a fixed income and everything has gone up, up, up. Gas is now a bargain at $4. Our energy bill went up from $212. on the monthly plan to nearly $300 and they want more?? Movies, popcorn, milk,...you name it and it has gone up. Some prices in the grocery have gone up .40 in the last month. Pay for businesses to have cheaper rates? Give me a break !

The last person to leave Michigan won't have to turn the lights off because no one will be afford to turn them on. Contact your state representative and start complaining.
