Group seeks Pickens' wife's help to save rangeland
Conservationists are looking to the wife of Texas oil tycoon T. Boone Pickens to help push for federal reforms that they say will help thousands of wild horses and save rangeland in the West.
Madeleine Pickens recently announced plans to create a refuge for wild horses. She came up with the idea after hearing that the U.S. Bureau of Land Management was considering euthanizing some of the animals to control the herds and protect the range.
WildEarth Guardians wants to take Pickens' plan further by proposing a solution the group believes would resolve public land grazing conflicts that have resulted in the horses needing a home.

Accenture will provide Xcel Energy with application management services under a multi-year application outsourcing agreement.
Under the agreement, Accenture will provide application maintenance and software development for Xcel Energy’s customer care, meter systems and human resources/payroll applications. Xcel Energy will leverage Accenture’s deep experience in the utilities sector and in application outsourcing services to increase its operational performance and enhance its customer service.
Deutsche Bank to expand outsourcing in Philippines - MarketWatch
Deutsche Bank AG is transforming the Philippines into an even bigger outsourcing hub for its global operations to account for 60%-70% of its offshoring business, the Philippine Daily Inquirer newspaper reported Tuesday.
For next year alone, it plans to increase its employees in the Philippines to 2,500 from the current 1,600, the report said, quoting Chris Sullivan, chief executive of Deutsche Knowledge Services Pte.
