Yeah the Appeals Court is always the refuge of the "rich", but not available to the poor victims
of Enron manipulating energy prices in California, and forcing many CalPers pension port-forlio plans into bankruptcy! My God you could hear 'traders on tape' laughing all the way to the Bank! And Managing Officer Skilling didn't know about it?

Ex-Enron executive free of charges after ruling
A former Enron Corp. executive is free of criminal charges related to financial fraud at the one-time energy giant after an appeals court ruled he should be acquitted of all counts he faced.

So after reading the Examiner news flash, it appears that it was Executive F.Scott Yeager
who is not to be retried, on a legal technicality of 'over-charging' on 200 counts, for insider trading on failing Enron stocks, making $53 million dollars, while collectively investors lost proportionally much more! Well that's our legal system! Prosecutors how do you expect a jury to sieve through 200 counts, with even the best in- tentioned Judges who have to rule on the Law; and jurors on the Facts, acting as refereers? F.M. |
