ConocoPhillips CEO: Oil companies pay high energy prices too
“I know the American public thinks we control the oil price, that large oil companies control the oil price. We do not control the oil price. The marketplace sets the oil price”
High oil prices may mean tremendous profits for oil companies, but the industry doesn't necessarily like them, the chairman and CEO of ConocoPhillips told shareholders today. via Houston Chronicle
