Roll Call also reported that “Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) funneled $115,000 last cycle to Douglas Boxer & Associates, a company run by her son, from PAC For A Change, her leadership political action committee.”

I'm no fan of Barbara Boxer, but there's no way, I'd vote for a conservative loon.

Carly and Meg both need to run for office where votes can be bought more easily, Afghanistan perhaps.

I suggest you stop putting your foot in your mouth. Demoscat Corzine spent nearly $19 Million out of pocket trying to BUY New Jersey.

You idiot country bumkins have no clue relative to modern societies or the wonderful state of California.

California despite its problems is far greater than a pathetic place like kentucky.

You folk still inbreeding down there ?

I know Kentuckians are used to inbreeding jokes. However, there is one joke about Kentucky and inbreeding that's funny because it's true: The story of the Blue Fugates of Troublesome Creek. The Fugates were an extended family living in an isolated hollow in Eastern Kentucky ominously named Troublesome Creek. Most members of the family had "hereditary methemoglobinemia." This is an enzyme deficiency that causes a person's blood to run vein blue as opposed to arterial red. Instead of being pink, these people are tinted blue or purple. The condition is based on a recessive gene; the only way to acquire it is if both your parents pass down the love. So what were the odds of clan founder Martin Fugate taking another methemoglobinemia carrier as his wife? He did, and they settled in Troublesome Creek sometime in the mid 19th Century. Cousins marrying cousins was commonplace among isolated Appalachians, so by the time a doctor discovered the Fugates in the 1960s, there were several blue people living in the hills around Hazard.

LOL!!!

When last heard from, Ms Fiorina was sent into a time out by the McCain campaign for saying McCain and Sarah Palin both lacked the experience to run a corporation.

Time out must be over. For now.

It won't be long before Teabagger Nation turns on her and dooms her candidacy for not being conservative enough.

WASHINGTON – Independents who swept Barack Obama to a historic 2008 victory broke big for Republicans on Tuesday as the GOP wrested political control from Democrats in Virginia and New Jersey, a troubling sign for the president and his party heading into an important midterm election year.

ABCNEWS: Vast Economic Discontent Spells Trouble for Dems in 2010...

Top Dems: Obama Won't Get Health Care Bill in 2009...

AP Sources: AARP to endorse House health care bill…here go another 60,000 or more people to cancel their memberships

Local races mean, people voted out/rejected a candidates they did not like. Those races had nothing to do with President Obama.

President Obama won because of himself, not his party. The parties only matter to idiots, it's really always about the individual(s) to most rational people.

GAS is a Republican governor here is CA, yet Republicans generally can't win here during presidential elections.

There are Democratic Goverors in many so-called Red States (AK, KA, Kentucky, OK, TN,WV and WY, so your point is stupid and mute.

I'm just glad the fright wingers changed their ads to pics of Carly from the tiring bombardment of Palin's pic.

Speaking of Palin and her brood. Levi Johnston is milking his 15 minutes of fame, busy getting ready to pose for Playgirl. He's on all the entertainment shows talking about how he's going to strip, tastefully. At least, he might use the money to provide for some of his baby's financial support.

Republicans are good at making money when they cast their scruples and phony religious pretenses to the wind.

It seems the Conservaturds are determined to parade out an endless supply of plastic b*tches without a brain in their head. Let's encourage the HP lady to do the same thing for the Liberals that Palin helped do yesterday. Win. Only an idiot works to defeat their own incumbent from office because of an ideological conflict. and it takes a bigger idiot to do so in a moderate district.

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Virgo

If the past few days have been a blur of cooking, washing up and wrapping paper, take a break today and catch up with loved ones. Have a long talk with one of them so you can find out what they've been doing lately, or discuss a topic that concerns both of you. Right now, you're blessed with plenty of diplomacy so the conversation should go well.
