iPhone MMS, Tethering Delayed to September?
When the iPhone 3GS
was announced, AT&T was ridiculed by some because the wireless carrier in the U.S. for the iPhone would not be enabling either MMS or tethering, services that consumers have been waiting for since the first generation iPhone. Now a report by AppModo is stating that both services will be delayed, all the way to September.

Retailers Leak Windows 7 Family Pack Info
To be honest, I expect Microsoft to announce some sort of Family Pack for Windows 7, much as they did for Windows Vista. To this point, there's been no official announcement, but as retailers prep their sites for the October launch of WIndows 7, they have made a few mistakes.

Spellcheck This: a Funny Office 2010 Ad
"From the visionary creators of Office 2007 and 2003." Hilarious. This latest promo video for Microsoft's upcoming Office 2010 features the grave of Clippy, the annoyingly helpful Office Assistant that thankfully vanished with Office 2007.

Google Announces Their Own OS, Built Out of Chrome
Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer is likely downing a ton of aspirin this morning, as Google has announced that it is developing a PC operating system based on its Chrome browser. Unlike Microsoft's current OS (Vista) and upcoming one (7), it will be all shiny and new (like Chrome!), not full of legacy code.

iPhone 3GS Users Complain Over Battery Life
You can't get something for nothing. And despite what Apple said about the battery life of the new iPhone 3GS (improved!), I had my doubts. My own experience is that battery life is less, and that's echoed by complaints making the rounds of news services and the Internet.

iPhone 3GS Generates Best Retail Day for AT&T Ever
A leaked AT&T memo notes that the launch day for the iPhone 3GS generated their "best-ever sales day in our retail stores." Note, this is for AT&T stores, not Apple stores. Unfortunately, while the memo had some numbers regarding text messages on the day Michael Jackson died, it had nothing numbers-wise about the iPhone 3GS, but lots of superlatives.
