First of all I am self employed. Secondly you sound exactly like the people I was using in my post. You and your friend Rush, Glen and Sean all the sound the same..You exclaim against government regulation but need government regulation to keep the few rich from monopolizing industry. Your argument doesn't hold water as the boards that run the companys don't own them but are a boys club that is self serving. Most of them rpe and pillage the companies then move on to the next. By the way I am a veteran also, thanks for serving.

The start of our economic downturn in America started with housing. Why is it that 5 times republicans tried to to put regulations on Fannie and Freddie and were shot down. You know...Fannie Mae who's CEO (Franklin Raines) cooked the books costing taxpayers BILLIONS...all the while getting FIRED but was still given almost $90MIllion severence package. BTW...Raines workes for your messiah. Funny I haven't heard you mention anything about that. How about Jim Johnson, CEO of Freddie Mac...did the same thing as Raines with a severence package of $60 million...all after bankrupting both companies.

FYI...Fannie mae paid MILLIONS to congressman and senators of both parties. The top 4 recipients were:

I guess the Democrats can take their share of the blame for the mess, but didn't the Republicans have control of the white house and both houses of congress from 2001 to 2005? If so, why didn't they do something about the housing crisis then?

Both Bush and McCain called for oversight and rang alarm bells but the democrats fought it tooth and nail and 'lobbied' the dissenting votes for it to be brough to the floor as well as made threats to pull the race card.

If you look at the majority of corps today the majority of the share holders are the execs and board and they usully didn't purchase those shares..
I didn't vote for obama as you are eluding too. Seems your trying to make me out as the one to blame for what is happening. It seems to me that the majority population voted for who is in office today, including obama. Tht was not the case with bush. I feel we need to bring back work to the USA. But unions can and do make companies non-competitive to their rivals here at home. Companies have to have money to pay their employees. Math 101.
