You and your friend Rush, Glen and Sean all the sound the same..You exclaim against government regulation but need government regulation to keep the few rich from monopolizing industry. Your argument doesn't hold water as the boards that run the companys don't own them but are a boys club that is self serving. Most of them rpe and pillage the companies then move on to the next. By the way I am a veteran also, thanks for serving.

If so, why didn't they do something about the housing crisis then?

Both Bush and McCain called for oversight and rang alarm bells but the democrats fought it tooth and nail and 'lobbied' the dissenting votes for it to be brough to the floor as well as made threats to pull the race card. No one was going to deny trillions in loans to people who couldn't afford them on Barney Frank's watch. But you're right, the Republicans who caved in the face of the race card and/or were bought off played their part. It was a bipartisan effort.

If you look at the majority of corps today the majority of the share holders are the execs and board and they usully didn't purchase those shares.. I didn't vote for obama as you are eluding too. Seems your trying to make me out as the one to blame for what is happening. Maybe you need to take some responsibility for the changes that weren't made when your conservative buddys were running the show. It seems to me that the majority population voted for who is in office today, including obama. Tht was not the case with bush. It looks like your just pissed off because you are in the minority of those that voted.

Bet you can't come up with a single fortune 500 company where that is true. What a ridiculous statement. Stick to being a washed up ex mechanic, who wasn't there to support the AMFA.

So your saying that execs purchase the majority of stocks, they own, with money that they earn and none are award as incentives, bonus, or part of their contract? That means the media has been lying about the companies. Naw, that would never happen..

What…..you want a pat on the back for working hard and making something of yourself on your own merits... living the American Dream……funny. I own my recruiting firm and recruit for XE (ZEE)…formally Black Water, as well as other companies. I retired from the military a little over 2 years ago... Special Forces Combat Medic – 1987 i was in op (operation) Earnest Will in Kuwait... 88-90 op Just Cause in Panama.. 92 op Restore hope in Somali... 95 I was in Bosnia... 97 I was in Tiran, Albania(wounded)... 2001 I was in Afghanistan..... 2003 Iraq (wounded) 2004 again in Iraq... I don’t blame you for what is happening….. I blame our elected officials and dumbasses that vote people into power because of their skin color or the handouts that they can receive. Like your name on this forum…. I call a spade and spade. You seem to have a chip on your shoulder regarding people making money and yet you fail to mention the people holding top positions in the current administration that STOLE $100MILLION dollars of tax payers money….(Franklin Raines, Jim Jones, etc…) That bothers me…..maybe not you and that’s cool…but, it does me. LMAO....“conservative buddies”…..FYI…I’m a reg Dem! I voted for Bush Bot ONCE against Kerry the FAIRY. My father was with Kerry twice during VN…couldn’t vote for the Looooooser/Liar. Yes, The Messiah won with the Majority of votes…..JUST LIKE BUSH! You seem to be the one with the grudge. For 6 years Democrats tried to find something, anything…tried every trick in the book to show that Bush cheated or what ever….they couldn’t and he didn’t….stop beating the dead horse. LMAO….I bet you even believe that Bush inherited a SURPLUS from Clinton when he took office too!

No, that is not what they mean. I feel we need to bring back work to the USA. But unions can and do make companies non-competitive to their rivals here at home. Companies have to have money to pay their employees. Math 101. If a unionized company cannot compete with a non-unionized company, then it goes out of business. Economics 101 Unions do not serve the common good like they did many years back. Now, it's about dues and union officers living high on the hog and getting double the pay and benefits of the very people he or she is supposed to be representing. The same thing that unions (and anyone else) would say of a CEO.
