You,ve got to be kidding me. Highly paid, professional pilots flying 500 MPH while on their laptop? Exposing 100 plus passenger to severe safety infractions and give them a break? These flying bus drivers shouldn't be allowed in the cockpit of an airliner ever again. This isn't a simple mistake, human error, it's a total lack of being responsible for the lives of the passengers they were entrusted to. Many states have laws against driving and talking on a cell phone and we should forgive them for flying while using their laptops, what a moron. You have no idea how close this could have become to being a disaster. I still don't believe they were using their laptops, I believe they were asleep. It's a common problem with flight crews since they have little to do in the highly automated cockpit of present day airliners. Most modern airliners can fly almost from takeoff to touchdown without anyone touching the controls, an absolute recipe for inattentiveness. Get a life an share your opinions on something newsworthy

Too many shady things have happened around this Northwest Delta thing. Mostly against the Veteran loyal Northwest Aircraft Maintaince Technicians being locked out some while back because Delta wanted to get rid of a union before the merger. Its been a wayward ordeal for the airline since then. This issue is just anouther example.

Daily Horoscope for December 4

Pisces

Go carefully, Pisces, because you could be vulnerable to those who might want to mislead you in some way. Unfortunately, you'll also do a good job of misleading yourself if you turn a blind eye to difficult situations. By taking an escapist attitude to anything that seems like too much hard work, you make a rod for your own back under current aspects. Don't persist in this for too long or it will lead to trouble.
