Full story: www.ledger-enquirer.com

The union that represents flight attendants who worked for Northwest Airlines before it was bought by Delta Air Lines is crying foul over Delta's failure to offer bigger sizes for its signature red dress uniform designed by Richard Tyler.

OK I have to ask a question though. Is there anyone out there a size 28? Is it possible to do your job at that size? Forget trolley dolly in the aisle. I mean the real job. Getting people out the plane fast and safe.

It's about time that many of these old sky hags retire.. as their attitudes with customers are nothing short of terrible.. so bad that I walked off a flight the other day before they finished boarding...

Maybe the guys should wear red dresses.. could not hurt...

What does "old sky hags" have to do with this thread on plump ones? And furthermore, what is so hard for a customer to board a plane, sit down, and put a seat belt on?

You walked off a flight before they finished boarding? I'm sure everyone on that flight was happy you did!

Anyone over a size 18 should not be wearing a "sexy red dress!" Flying has become such a pain in the A$$, do we really need to see the dimples in someone else’s as well? BTW - I am a woman, so don't anyone go accusing the guys for being insensitive. A size 28, that's got to be a circus tent!!!!!

I have yet to work with a Flight Attendant who is bigger than a size 14. There is no way a female who would be bigger than an 18 could fit down those aisles! Did it ever occur to anyone that the red dress in question runs extremely small? Remember American Gals are curvy and corn fed; not the “stick thin build” that the Europeans are. Go union gals, and remember “more cushion for pushin”!!

Ha! Union Gals, I say give up the KFC and ice cream! Otherwise, you will be "pushin" passangers right out of their seats as you walk down the aisles.

Daily Horoscope for December 6

Sagittarius

You still prefer to be in a world of your own, in which nothing nasty is happening, but at least you're feeling a little more realistic than you were yesterday. It's a perfect day for visiting somewhere beautiful, peaceful or relaxing, or for going to the cinema or an art gallery. But it will be difficult to get up the energy for any prolonged Christmas shopping.
