AnalysisOnline Teams with SNA for the Benefit of its nearly 2400 community newspapers

The success of a publication's advertisers depends on the volume and loyalty of its print readers and online traffic, which in turn depends on quality and timely content.

No one knows that better than the folks at Suburban Newspapers of America who are pleased to announce their new partnership with The Communications Institute (TCI).

The goal of this new partnership is to provide SNA members objective analysis on critical public issues from many of the nation’s leading research/academic institutions. This objective is accomplished through TCI's AnalysisOnline Web site.

Introduced in 2006, AnalysisOnline was created to provide primers, both text and video, on critical issues, with a primary focus on economics, science, and engineering. The special AO on the Headlines puts the top issues of the day in context with research data from top academic and government research sources. Since AO went “live” in August of 2006, it has caught the attention of search engines, and the site enjoys strong rankings under a variety of key words.

AnalysisOnline has been designed to provide users with quick access to information on critical issues through search mechanisms and clearly labeled sections on the home page. Currently, AO includes the following:

AO on the Headlines

Issue Sections

Issue Primers

AO Video

Coverage of Symposiums

Web resources

AO ongoing updates to content and glossaries of terms

AnalysisOnline draws upon experts from many of the nation's leading academic and research institutions providing SNA members' reporting staff quick access to background on critical issues in the news and a useful resource to newspaper management.
