Bail upheld for dad accused of forcing son to drink juice
The Burlingame father accused of whipping and force-feeding juice to his developmentally disabled son because the teen was sent home from school remains in custody after a judge Friday refused to lower or dismiss his $100,000 bail.
The defense for Jason Todd McGlown, 35, argued he has a good relationship with his son and strong ties in the community but Judge Cliff Cretan would not agree to either reduce his bail or release him on his own recognizance.
