PE's love affair with Brazilian classrooms
Actis, the London-based emerging market fund, has become the latest toA invest in the sector, buying a minority stake in the BrazilianA university group Cruzeiro do Sul Educacional for R$180m . In 2009 private equity firm Advent bought into education group Kroton ,A paying R$280m for 50 per cent of its holding company.
