May 9 - The heavily anticipated rematch between Britain's Amir Khan and Lamont Peterson, scheduled for May 19, has been cancelled after the American tested positive for a banned substance, organisers said on Wednesday.
News of Peterson's positive test, which took place in March, comes less than two weeks before his scheduled rematch with Amir Khan in Las Vegas, where Peterson was set to put his World Boxing Association super lightweight and International Boxing Federation junior welterweight belts on the line on May 19 at Mandalay Bay.
