Team Ruiz has responded to false allegations made in two press releases by promoter Don King, who erroneously stated that, "John Ruiz is my fighter," as well as falsely claiming the World Boxing Association had sanctioned an "Interim" title fight between one of King's fighters, Kali Meehan, and former champion Ruslan Chagaev.
