Let me first start off this piece of writing by admitting to you all that these moves will most likely not happen, and are very farfetched.

Although it was in a season where some of the Easern Conference elite were struggling through injuries, the Indiana Pacers emerged as a threat in the powerful top half of the East.

It is that time again. It came a little later than usual , but the off-season is here.

Following the deflating end of the season for the Indiana Pacers on Thursday night, the players began decompressing, dealing with defeat and the realization that the frenetic season that had so many high points was suddenly over.

Point guard Darren Collison, still in uniform, sat in his chair staring across the locker room Thursday night after the Indiana Pacers' season ended with a loss to the Miami Heat in Game 6. Collison was frustrated.

So it's over. The sting of elimination lingers. But it was a great year. The fans were privileged to witness a group of guys who were not only great on the court, but just so damned easy to get behind and root for.
