Magic lock up No. 3 seed for playoffs with 101-86 win over Cavs
Hedo Turkoglu scored 23 points, Rashard Lewis added 21 and the Orlando Magic locked up the Eastern Conference's No. 3 playoff seed with a 101-86 win Saturday over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Magic, who have sat behind Boston and Detroit in the standings for much of the season, won despite getting only 4 points on 1-of-8 shooting from All-Star center Dwight Howard _ 17 below his average. Orlando's defense, though, was the difference.
The Magic held Cleveland to 14 points in the fourth quarter and didn't let Cavaliers superstar LeBron James get his first points of the period until there was 1:48 left. By then, Orlando was up by double digits and in cruise control. Read more

Hedo Turkoglu scored 24 points, Dwight Howard overcame a slow start to collect 19 points and 14 rebounds, and the Orlando Magic beat the Toronto Raptors 102-87 on Tuesday night.
Howard had only three points on 1-for-3 shooting until the fourth quarter, sitting long stretches with foul trouble. He seemed energized after the rest, and scored six straight in a 1:10 stretch that expanded Orlando's lead to 89-79 with six minutes remaining.
T.J. Ford single-handedly kept Toronto alive in the fourth quarter. He scored 13 of his 20 points in the period, the first 13 the Raptors had. Anthony Parker added 19 points and nine rebounds and Jose Calderon scored 14 points, but Toronto lost its third straight. Read more
