Marvin Williams' contract extension up in the air
Don't blame the fragile economy for the NBA's sudden recession where contract extensions are concerned.
Marvin Williams scored 19 points, hauled in six rebounds and dished out four assists to lead the Atlanta Hawks in a 100-96 victory over the Phoenix Suns in preseason action.
Last spring the Hawks took the eventual Champions to 7 games where they were blown out in Boston.
Bench players aid Hawks in win
Reserve guards Maurice Evans and Acie Law scored 17 and 20 points respectively, and the Atlanta Hawks beat the Orlando Magic 118-101 Monday night in the pre-season opener for both teams.
It appears we'll have to wait one more day to see the Hawks in some live scrimmage action.
