After watching a revolving door of forwards try their luck at the four spot last season, the Suns are appear to be taking a two-pronged approach to improve post play through a combination of veteran coaching and talent via the draft.

Tuesday, Arizona Sports 620's John Gambadoro reported that the team will be adding Mark West and Jerry Sichting as assistant coaches.

One of the best playoff games in the history of the NBA was delivered by the Phoenix Suns' Charles Barkley, who put up 44 points and grabbed 24 rebounds in Game 7 of the 1993 Western Conference Finals.

Sichting spent one season in Washington and worked primarily with the big men. He had replaced Gene Banks, who moved from the bench to become a scout last season.
