Nicolas Batum scored 27 points with 3 rebounds and 3 steals, and the San Antonio Spurs ' Boris Diaw added 15 points and 4 assists, and Team France beat Lithuania for their first FIBA Bronze Medal. The teams were locked in a close game all night, with Lithuania leading by 7 after three quarters.

Basketball World Cup: Serbia holds off France, will play US for gold

Madrid a Milos Teodosic scored 24 points and Serbia reached the championship game of the Basketball World Cup by beating France 90-85 on Friday night. Teodosic helped Serbia lead by as much as 18, but Nicolas Batum of the Portland Trail Blazers nearly brought the French all the way back, finishing with 35 points.

Ray Allen's Next NBA Stop Should Be with San Antonio Spurs

Not that most San Antonio Spurs fans need reminding, but in the 2013 Finals, the then- Miami Heat shooting guard completed a miraculous Game 6 comeback with a three-pointer that extended the series, which Miami would go on to win. So, when news broke that the Spurs were interested in Allen, a free agent searching for a home to spend the coda of his career, it initially came as a bit of a shock.
