Why Bryan Colangelo's Future in Toronto Will Depend on Jonas Valanciunas
With the NBA regular season enters its final weeks, teams are continuing to jostle for the postseason and higher playoff seed.
Nielsen on Raptors: Keeping things close
The Raptors finally won a close game on Tuesday night at the Air Canada Centre when they pushed pass the lowly Charlotte Bobcats 92-87. Granted it was against the NBA's worst franchise, but that is somewhat irrelevant as they had not beaten Charlotte in six attempts including two games earlier this season.
Raptors head coach Dwane Casey felt his team would at least give themselves a good shot at a win if they could limit the Orlando Magic to eight or fewer three-pointers. The fact that Orlando already had nine, six of them by Ryan Anderson alone, and there was still 1:26 to go in the first half pretty much told the tale.
Toronto Raptors head into homestand undermanned and overworked
A game, a practice, a game, a practice, a game, a practice, a game, a practice, a game; a perfect opportunity to get some much-needed work done in their second-longest homestand of the season.
NBA player movement isn't over yet
Derek Fisher , celebrating the Lakers' 2010 title with Kobe Bryant in this file photo, is among those likely to be waived not long after being traded.
