Indianapolis evidently got word of the Pirates' highly improbable offensive explosion just before they went to bat in the 9th inning and were inspired to score seven runs of their own en route to a 9-4 victory over Louisville.

One night after scoring the winning run in a 15-inning game, Indianapolis outfielder Alex Presley went 3-for-4 on Friday as the Indians completed a two-game sweep of visiting Louisville, 4-1. Tribe left-hander Justin Wilson pitched 51/3 innings to earn the win, Indianapolis' fifth in a row.

Indianapolis won a 15-inning marathon over Louisville, 2-1. Matt Hague , who'd fanned four times, won it with a walk-off single following a one-out triple by Alex Presley .

Indianapolis topped Buffalo , 6-3, but may have lost two players in the process.

Indianapolis beat Durham 2-0, behind seven shutout innings from Rudy Owens . He allowed six hits and a walk, and fanned six.
