A The Gwinnett Braves, in conjunction with the Atlanta Braves, have released their 2012 Opening Night roster.

At this hour there are no major trades to report for the Atlanta Braves , but there are a plethora of minor league trades ... all with the White Sox .

The Chicago White Sox have agreed to trade minor league outfielder Christian Marrero to the Atlanta Braves in exchange for future cash considerations, according to Mark Gonzales of the Chicago Tribune .

A couple of weeks into the 2011 season, the Braves plucked Stefan Gartrell off waivers from the White Sox and he rewarded them by providing Gwinnett with a consistent, powerful cleanup hitter, putting up a .260 average and .834 OPS while clubbing out 28 doubles, and setting single season Gwinnett records with 25 homers and 91 RBI.

Braves Julio Teheran was named Most Valuable Pitcher and Rookie of the Year. At Gwinnett this year the 20 year old Teheran playing in only his third professional season posted eye watering numbers.
