Minnesota gave its fans a charge Monday night, May 14, by mounting a late rally and tying first-place Cleveland with a three-run eighth inning, but the game ended the way 24 others have this season, with a loss.

Forget for a moment that the White Sox stranded nine runners through the first eight innings of their 5-3, 10-inning victory against the Indians .

It may have taken an inning too long with one blown three-run lead too many, but tonight's game was still a tale of redemption.

Overall, the Indians went 4-2 in the fourth week of the season. They opened up the week with a loss to the White Sox, but were able to bounce back and take the next two games to get the series win.

The first month of the season is in the books, and it's been a fun start for the Indians.
