Akron lefty Scott Barnes, who the Indians acquired July 28 from the San Francisco Giants for Ryan Garko, made his Class AA debut Wednesday in Norwich, Conn., and helped the Aeros win an Eastern League game over the Connecticut Defenders, 7-4. Barnes pitched five innings and allowed two runs on four hits.
