Brad Lincoln and three relievers combined on a four-hitter for host Indianapolis as the Indians defeated the Columbus Clippers, 4-1, Monday in a Class AAA International League game.

Akron lefty Scott Barnes, who the Indians acquired July 28 from the San Francisco Giants for Ryan Garko, made his Class AA debut Wednesday in Norwich, Conn., and helped the Aeros win an Eastern League game over the Connecticut Defenders, 7-4.
