NEW YORK -- While the New York Yankees have chosen to keep their starting rotation for the American League Championship Series intact, despite the opportunities for tweaking created by Saturday night's rainout, there was one small tactical gain: right-hander A.J. Burnett, who started and received a no-decision in Game 5 on Thursday night, will be available for emergency relief work in a potential Game 7, if not Game 6.
'If I'm needed to come in, I'll be ready,' Burnett said following the rainout announcement Saturday night. 'I'll be ready for anything.'
