What the Mets need to contend

On Twitter last week, a person with the handle "GForceEditing" asked me this: "If Mets fill P,C,LF,1B holes as follows: Wolf , Molina , Holliday , Delgado - can they contend? Happy Thanksgiving!" Now, please don't tell anyone, but when someone throws such a question at me, I don't run to the players' FanGraphs pages and start crunching numbers.
