After dropping their 10th straight home game with an 8-5 loss in game one of the doubleheader, the Gwinnett Braves took care of business in the nightcap, winning for the first time at home since April 22 with a 5-2 victory over the Louisville Bats on Monday night.

The Cincinnati Reds will square off in a three-game set with Mets in New York with game one being started by Johnny Cueto .

Louisville stuck the Iron Pigs in a 6-3 victory. The Bats jumped out to an early lead, scoring 4 runs in the top of the first thanks to a Hank Rod double followed by singles from Neftali Soto , Felix Perez , Ryan Hanigan and Kris Negron .

Louisville went 0 for the weekend, dropping both games to Lehigh Valley at home.

Highlight: Steve Susdorf lined a two-run pinch-hit double in the top of the ninth inning, then scored an insurance run to lead the IronPigs to a 5-3 win over Louisville Saturday night to open a four-game series in Kentucky.

The Louisville Bats wasted a fine effort by Chad Reineke as the Gwinnett Braves got a run against reliever Curtis Partch in the ninth inning to post a 1-0 victory Thursday night at Louisville Slugger Field.
