Backup catcher Mike Redmond won't return to Twins for 2010 season

Twins general manager Bill Smith confirmed Friday what has been assumed for much of the offseason - the ballclub will not bring back veteran catcher Mike Redmond for the 2010 season, ending the 38-year-old's five-year tenure with the team.
