Jim Johnson was visibly frustrated following another blown opportunity Friday. And who could blame him? Johnson has struggled since moving to the closer role and after his team battled back twice, he couldn't escape in the ninth inning as the Orioles lost for the ninth straight game, 9-8, on Saturday at Progressive Field.

Reimold to have surgery on injured Achilles, done for the season

Orioles outfielder Nolan Reimold's solid rookie season has come to an end. He was placed on the 15-day disabled list today and will have surgery Wednesday to repair the Achilles tendon in his left foot, which will keep him sidelined for three to four months but shouldn't affect his status for next season.
