Venezuela poised to step forward
Magglio Ordonez and Miguel Cabrera are likely to follow Tigers teammate Carlos Guillen's lead and play in the World Baseball Classic.
The Mariners need to trade Ichiro. He has no leadership, power, and he has too hefty of a paycheck for a team that lost 101 games last season.
