Tides beat Indianapolis 3-2 after 13 innings
Eventually, somebody was going to win. Eventually, the Norfolk Tides won. In a game that seemed to drone on and on into the night, the Tides won when Xavier Avery ripped a single over the head of Indianapolis first baseman Jake Fox, plating Ryan Adams from third in the 13th inning.
