Bisons overcomes SWB Yankees comeback

Although the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees overcame a six-run deficit, the Bisons came back with a two-run eighth inning to win, 8-7, on Saturday at Coca-Cola Field in Buffalo, N.Y. The Bisons got to Yankees starter D.J. Mitchell early, scoring in each of their first three at bats and five of their six runs on two-out hits.

Gustavo Molina's RBI single in the 10th inning lifted the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees to their third straight win, 4-3, over the Columbus Clippers, 4-3, at Frontier Field in Rochester, N.Y. Steve Pearce got the Yankees going in the bottom of the frame with his third double and fourth hit of the game off Clippers reliever Jeremy Accardo.
