Rays fans have gotten familiar with Andrew Miller over the years. He was a prospect and then major league pitcher for the cross-state Florida Marlins and he is now a reliever for the Rays' division rival Red Sox.

The player, Dustin Richardson, is a 26-year-old left-handed relief pitcher who played for the Boston Red Sox in 2009 and 2010 before spending all of 2011 in Class AAA with farm teams of the Florida Marlins and Atlanta Braves.

The Red Sox avoided arbitration with new closer Andrew Bailey, signing him to a one-year deal worth $3.9 million with an additional $100,000 possible in incentives.
