the first option the Giants must pursue is too no longer have a Brian Sabean office. that's it, Mr. Sabean and his three pages of basbeall knowledge need to exit stage left, three years too late.
He presided over the downfall of a very respectable team. For five years, no clutch hitting, either no closers or no openers, no base steraling threats, no leadoff hitters, and no power punch to go with or in lieu of bonds. Oh and the errors just seem to follow the aged players, remarkable isn't it. This year, the fans shouted Lincecum and Cain and pray for rain. The Giants still show their AARP cards when other teams show their American Express cards. On has to wonder if the Giants don't qualify for stimulus funding for hiring over 35 players in the waning years of their careers. |
