No bench to spare as O's resume game

Of course Wieters won't be brought up, the O's management likes losing and they are cheap a$$es! Hey, how about NEVER bringing Wieters up, thbis way he will NEVER start his service time and Angelos won't have to pay the big $$$ to keep him once he becomes a free agent! Know THAT is smart thinking!

You expect the fans to pay top $ to watch this sorry rebuilding team, then you say we won't be bringing Wieters up. I see no reason why this team cannot bring up their top prospect for a couple of weeks in September just to give the overpaying fans a climpse of what's to come. Oh Yea, I forgot, it's a $ thing. I'm sure they'll raise ticket prices next year so we can see what we've already paid for. Good Luck when Marky and a few other top prospects bolt when their time comes. The Orioles had a chance to show good faith and didn't do it by paying the minimum.... Oh I forgot, it is a $ thing. Good luck watching this team rebuild for the next 20 years...

Hmm. I wonder how Trembley ranks against other managers as far as ejections go.

As for Trew: There is no reason at all to bring Wieters up. The kid is not ready yet (even Komminsk said so). Give him some time off, work in Arizona Fall league and he'll be here in spring. It is his first year in pro ball, why rush him?

If he comes up here and struggles, no way you can send him back down. See you next year Matt.

Does not calling up Wieters have anything to do with service in the majors counting toward when he becomes a free agent ? THis season is another bummer and so do they want to avoid starting the clock on him? Go O's and take Daniel Cabrera with you.

They should bring him up just to let him get a feel for the bigs. Play as a late inning replacement if we run out of players. He doesn't need to start, or play in a day game after a night game. Just let him get a taste. It will help him transition next season.

It's too bad we can't put Walker in, that would end this one just like the rest and really fast too!

Trembley is just saying what he is being told to say. By next year at this time more than half of this team's position players will be gone and most of it's starting pitchers also. You might as well let these guys finish the year. What's the difference between finishing fourth or fifth in the division? I for one hope Huff returns.

We don't need Texeira. We need pitching.

Trembly has nothing to do with Weiters being called up. Weiters has played alot of ball this year, send him home and get some rest and be ready for next year.
