Tim Lincecum, Hector Sanchez and most of their teammates took to the boardwalk today for a ceremony honoring Lincecum's second no-hitter. There are now 23 plaques out there and he has two of them; the other one is for his 14-strikeout performance in Game 1 of the NLDS in 2010.

UPDATE, 5:15 p.m.: Could Brandon Belt be activated as soon as tonight, even though he has not faced live pitching since Aug 6? It wouldn't be the goofiest idea in the world, especially given how good he feels. Roster space is not an issue in September, and if nothing else Belt could play first base late in the game and give the opposing manager pause to think that Belt might pinch-hit.
