It took 13 innings and heroics by tomorrow's starter, Clayton Richard , but the Padres finally defeated the Angels and declared themselves Kings of Southern Southern California today, but more importantly for the pride of all involved, they moved into 4th place in the NL West, moving ahead of the hated Rockies of Colorado.
