The Joy Formidable News

Welsh indie and alternative rock band The Joy Formidable formed in 2007. They later relocated to London, England where they started to make a name for themselves thanks to their energetic live performances.

Formed in 2007 in North Wales, The Joy Formidable began when childhood friends Ritzy Bryan and Rhydian Dafydd decided to make music together.

Thankfully, she's been able to satiate herself. The trio are currently putting the finishing touches on the as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2011's The Big Roar , tentatively due for release this fall or early next year.

The Joy Formidable have been back in the studio working on their forthcoming second album with none other than legendary producer Andy Wallace.

Graham Coxon will play Reading on the Friday and Leeds on the Saturday, playing the same bill as The Courteeners, Foster The People and The Maccabees.
