Tedeschi Trucks Band News

The parade of tour buses in town this week continued May 2 as the Tedeschi Trucks Band took to the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium.

Formed in 2010, Tedeschi Trucks Band has amassed in three years accolades and achievements worthy of an entire career, including the Grammy-winning "Revelator," dazzling live followup "Everbody's Talkin'," and four Blues Music Awards.

It seems like blues-rock mega-outfit Tedeschi-Trucks Band, 11 members strong, must have played in Asheville before.

Last Wednesday featured yet another packed house at The Ridgefield Playhouse with 500 very lucky fans here to see The Tedeschi/Trucks Band, and how could it not be sold out? This is a small stage and venue for such a large band, but they certainly filled the place with such a silky, bluesy and soulful sound.

Two years in, the Tedeschi Trucks Band is barreling right along. On May 2, the band will play the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium.

As The Black Crowes and Tedeschi Trucks Band continue their own spring tours, they're excited about their recently announced co-headlining summer tour of outdoor venues along with special guests The London Souls.

Following their own headlining runs, the Black Crowes and Tedeschi Trucks Band will connect for a co-headlining summer trek, which will feature support from The London Souls.
